When We Are Closedclosed_sign

If you call the surgery outside of normal working hours a recorded message will give you details of how to contact the out-of-hours service.

You can also get help from a number of other places:

Walk-in Centres

  • Shakespeare Medical Practice 0113 2951132
  • St Georges Centre (Minor Injuries Unit) 0113 2939800

NHS 111

Alternatively you can contact out-of-hours service on 111 or www.nhs.uk/111  for problems that will not wait until the surgery re-opens.  This is a 24 hour nurse led advice and information service.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
